UK MD, David James gets on his bike for charity

It’s pedal power all the way for UK Managing Director David James, as he rides in this year’s Prudential RideLondon – Surrey 100 on Sunday 31st July, in an effort to raise money for Children with Cancer UK.

Starting at the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park in east London, amateur cyclists will cover 100 miles travelling the route made famous by the London 2012 Olympic Games. The ride will take about eight hours to complete and will finish on The Mall, outside Buckingham Palace.

David has been training hard, cycling over 200 miles a week, in preparation for the big day. Recently, he completed 72 miles in the New Forest Conqueror event.

“It has been a tough couple of weeks to get myself ready for the ride,” said David, “and I have suffered a few saddle sores! But, I am thoroughly enjoying the experience and it is all for a really good cause.”
